Celebrate your classic car and get a free breakfast
Wednesday 16th March 2016
For the third year running Southend-on-Sea are hosting a series of Classic Car Breakfasts starting on Sunday 20th March 2016 at 9am.
If your car is 25 years or older and you would like to be part of this unique event and get a free breakfast for the car driver, then book your place now as there are limited spaces available, which are sure to fill up quickly.
Entertainment at this event is provided by Blazin Aces and Mr Dickie Bows and the free breakfast for the March event will be sponsored by Beaches Café Bar & Bistro.
These Classic Car breakfasts are being held at City Beach, Marine Parade Southend from 9am until 12 noon on the following Sundays: 20th March, 17th April, 15th May, 19th June and 16th September.
Executive Councillor for Enterprise, Tourism and Economic Development, Cllr Mary Betson, said: “The Classic Car Breakfasts have proved very popular and are a great attraction on City Beach for residents and visitors of all ages.
“These well-loved vehicles bring back memories for those who fondly recognise the familiar models but they are also fascinating historic objects for those who have never seen the like before.
“Again, we are grateful to our seafront traders, who generously sponsor the breakfasts, and for the involvement of my fellow councillors, particularly Cllr Stephen Aylen, whose unwavering support and boundless enthusiasm helped get this successful event off the ground in first place.”
