The Passionate Gardener - Detox Time!

January 5, 2015 by Marcelle Baum of Living Decor

Wishing you all a Happy New Year.

We're being bombarded about how we have all Vegged out and how we must get into the Detox, well we are already planning which Vegetables to grow.

You really don't need to have an allotment, just a few pots or window boxes.

Our food is enhanced by the flavours of Chilies Peppers and other exciting tropical vegetables, and growing them from seed can be difficult.

We at Living Decor, often grow from seed but plant for our clients already established small plants; the average house would need two chilli plants, 2 pepper plants and the same for tomatoes and cucumber. All of these can be grown in pots from late May outside.

If you do however have a garden, but do not want a vegetable plot, why not grow the vegetable between the plants and shrubs? Some of the plants sound exotic but are really easy to grow. For example Aubergine, Courgette, Onions, Leeks Artichokes, even beans and peas grow up bare fences, twiggy trees and shrubs and they have flowers and fruits.

We are always looking for new ideas so keep in touch and view us on Facebook and Twitter and contact us for further advice.

Now is the time to prepare.
Happy eating......
