Free help for budding businesses

Tuesday 15th September 2015

Boost your business or develop your social enterprise with the help of dynamic free Southend workshop events.

These are led by experts giving practical help with a range of topics, such as: improving sales, marketing for manufacturers, business planning, start-ups, dealing with stress, leadership and much more.

The workshops are aimed at all businesses in the town, including those involved in Small Business Saturday and also Social Enterprises.

Workshops being held this week at The Business Hub, 4th Floor, The Gateway Building, Elmer Approach, Southend SS1 1LW are:

  • Wednesday 16th September – 9:30am: Branding, credibility and sales – for winners, led by Jeff Della Mura of FuseMarketing.biz.
  • Wednesday 16th September -1:30pm: How to decide the best way of reaching your target market. Led by Your Marketeer
  • Thursday 17th September – 9:30am – 4:30pm: Writing your business plan, led by David Goody

Meanwhile, on Saturday 21st September, there will be a conference on employability hosted by the University of Essex at Wivenhoe Park, Colchester CO4 3SQ, starting at 10:30am
