Fundraising begins to keep one of Leigh's biggest events free!
Leigh Folk Festival
An emergency appeal has been set up to keep one of Leigh's biggest annual event's, The Folk Festival, free!
This year, will mark the 25th year for the ever popular event due to take place between the 23rd & 26th June in Old Leigh, but due to making a £2,000 loss in 2015 organisers are appealing for support in donations.
The event, entirely run by volunteers generally costs between £15,000-20,000.
