Best Stuff to do in Leigh-on-Sea this Halloween

If you are looking for somewhere to take your little monsters this hallowe’en, or if you are just aching to find a place to show off your Bananas in Pyjamas costume, then Leigh-on-Sea.com has you covered. Read our guide to the best things to do this hallowe’en.

For the little ones:

Fright Fantastic returns to Adventure Island for half-term, and will feature such fantastic attractions as the Curse of the Black Scream and live scare mazes, alongside face painting, arts and crafts and a best dressed competition with the chance to win a family pass.

On Thursday 27th October, Leigh Community Centre will be giving kids aged 8 and over the chance to have a go at creating their own scary halloween hand puppets.

The ghost train will be running along Southend pier, complete with spooky stories, fancy dress and a firework display.

At Belfairs woods, a horrible hallowe’en arts and crafts session, which coincides with bat week will keep all the family amused from 10am onwards on the 29th.

For the not-so-little ones:

The Broadway Pub on, you guessed it, Leigh Broadway is having a Hallowe’en party on Friday 28th October, with prizes awarded to the best fancy dress.

The Railway will be hosting a night of terror, from 7pm until 2am the pub will be host to a variety of music acts and horrific visuals.

The pier will also be infested with zombies from 12:30 on Sunday 30th, with a best zombie competition at 2pm and a free zombie disco for all ages at 3pm at the Park Inn Palace.

At Pride & Glory Tattoo Studio, a flash weekend will feature live music, horror films, a free bar and food, and a range of killer designs at special reduced rates.

So whatever you get up to, you’re sure to have a spooktacular time this hallowe’en.
