Legal Eagle Q&A: Does My Husband Need A Will?

January 15, 2018 by Melinda @ Giles Wilson Solicitors

Q: My husband has said to me that I will automatically inherit everything from him and we do not need to make a Will. Is that right?

A: Not necessarily! It depends on what assets he owns, and the value of them, and the type and value of any joint assets. Always best to make a Will for that reason alone but there are many other points that are also dealt with.
