Make a splash with a Southend Pier wedding!

All at sea with marriage plans?

Why not hurry to Southend Pier Wedding Fayre on Sunday 21st February to discover the delights of tying the knot at the iconic Royal Pavilion.

The Fayre, from 10am until 4pm will introduce courting couples to the possibilities of making their vows at the truly unique venue at the end of Southend’s world famous Pier.

Admission is free to this special event where you can find everything you need for your special day.

Local firms supplying bridal wear, hair and make-up, flowers and bouquets, favours, stationery and photography will be there showcasing their services.

Wedding pairs-in-waiting will be able to take a ride on the bridal train as if they were being transported to their own ceremony, or they can take a romantic stroll along the mile and a third route to the Royal Pavilion above the waves.

They can try their luck for the top raffle prize of winning their Royal Pavilion wedding free and there will also be plenty of tempting free samples on offer too.

Executive Councillor for Enterprise, Tourism and Economic Development, Councillor Mary Betson said: “Every couple wants their wedding to be the most amazing and memorable event ever, so this Fayre offers a whole array of ideas and inspirations to help them do just that – all in one place.

“It is also a golden opportunity to explore the wonderful Royal Pavilion, and put it high up on their shortlist of potential wedding venues.

While entry to the Wedding Fayre is free, normal Pier admission charges apply.
