New year... New You!?

New year... New you?

So I'm seeing this slogan every where and I'm not sure it's realistic or helping any one. Do you want a new you? Or just an improved you? Is it realistic to stop drinking, lose weight, stop smoking,  eat better and start exercising all at the same time?

Probably not... I suggest just a couple of those steps and what about your image? People think that being a stylist is quite shallow but honestly... As a human how we feel is directly linked to how we look. So if you are feeling a bit rubbish the best thing you can do is get dressed up! I mean it... Put on your favourite outfit and you'll be amazed at how much better you feel. Choose brighter colours and your spirits will lift.

Now... You're looking in the mirror and you're not happy with what you see, well I can help you. Regardless of your size, shape and age there's a lot that can be done with a day in your local shopping centre. Hair, make up and clothes can all be addressed and improved upon with the right guidance from me and the right open-minded attitude from you. Alternatively, we can re-work your wardrobe with a "Wardrobe Detox" and get rid of the loved, un-flattering and dated items. I'll re-work what's left into wearable outfits that you'll enjoy putting on. I'll even leave you with a list of items that you need to fill the gaps and pictures of your new outfits. What more could you ask for?

"I want to lose weight first!" Is a sentence i here quite often... But a positive image overhaul will have a positive effect on your weight loss and mind set, it doesn't need to be expensive either! And a few up to date well fitting items will make you feel good to.

So whatever your New Years resolutions are... Be realistic and don't set yourself up to fail! Happy 2015 you gorgeous lot.
