This light & refreshing cocktail makes a great aperitif before you tuck into that Turkey! Licor 43 is a delicious Spanish liqueur that can be found in most good supermarkets. With flavours of orange, lemon, lime & vanilla, it's fantastic in cocktails, especially at Christmas time.

RECIPE OF CHRISTMAS - BOXING DAY HAM

Here's a little tip to turn your Boxing Day ham into something a little more magical try this simple Maple, clementine and mustard glaze a great one to wow your family.
As most of you will be cooking for different amounts of people on Boxing Day, the size of your ham will differ and cooking times etc so I will leave the main boiling of your ham in your trusted hands and just leave you with this great way of finishing it. The quantity of this glacé will happily coat a 6kg ham, so if your cooking just a small ham cut this recipe in half.

A POINSETTIA IS NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS OR IS IT?

Poinsettias are native to Mexico, and although tropical they like to be regularly “misted” to help retain moisture in their leaves. Furthermore, warmth is a must - but do not confuse warmth with the need to soak the roots as doing this will only kill them from the bottom up. Although we are told there are many ways to try and keep them until next year they are a little time consuming, why not just be a little frivolous, and keep it until the colours fade, probably about May or June.
