Pubs reopen in Leigh as Government updates social distancing laws

June 25, 2020

Things are beginning to return to normal and, from the 4th July, pubs and bars will start to reopen. This comes alongside the government’s amendments to social distancing laws which mean:

  • You can meet with two households.
  • Pubs, businesses and public places can open (with some exceptions e.g gyms, nightclubs and swimming pools).
  • Gatherings are limited to 30 people.
  • You must stay 1m apart and 2m where possible.
  • You should avoid public transport where possible and face masks are mandatory if you do use it.
