Revised waste collection dates for Christmas and New Year in Leigh-on-sea

Over the Christmas holiday period, collection dates will temporarily change. Remember to place your recycling and waste out on the morning of your collection and by 7am.

Collections continue until 6pm so there is no need to report a missed collection before then. All the Veolia UK crews wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you for recycling!

Kerbside collections

usual collection day Tuesday 26 December, collection will be on Wednesday 27 December

usual collection day Wednesday 27 December, collection will be on Thursday 28 December

usual collection day Thursday 28 December, collection will be on Friday 29 December

usual collection day Friday 29 December, collection will be on Saturday 30 December

Normal kerbside collection service will resume on 2 January

Communal bin collections

Collections will take place a day later than usual between 26 December and 6 January.

Normal communal collection service will resume week commencing 8 January.

Household waste recycling centres (the tip)

Both Stock Road and Leigh Marshes tips will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
