Party Dress Season here we Come!!
It's party time....
For most of you and I do mean most, there will be a collective groan as you need to head out and get yourself something suitable for the party season.
So what I'm going to do is make it super easy for you to find the right dress for you by looking at your body shape.
Here we go......
If you are all about the boobs (easy boys), first get a great uplifting bra (this is imperative)! Then look out for dresses that have a v or scoop neck. This will make your boobs look smaller and higher.
Now, if you tend to have big boobs, then you may also tend to carry a bit of weight on the backs of your arms... don't worry about this too much as you'll be showing a little cleavage... So who will be looking at your arms?????? Nobody!!!!
Small boobs? Then go for the complete opposite! High neck line and oversized necklace or big earrings will work a treat. Also look out for cowl necks and anything with front detail. This will compensate for what you don't have.
Now moving down the body, if you are a pear. (so many of us are).. You'll have a small waist in comparison to a large butt. So show off the waist and disguise the butt by wearing a skater style dress. Think "fit and flair"!!! (You'll find loads of these in Oasis). http://www.oasis-stores.com/?lng=en&ctry=GB&
However some of you ladies are blessed with and are proud of your curves so show them off and go for the wiggle dresses that are around (Check out Zara). http://www.zara.com/uk/. They have a 1950's look which is gorgeous. Think a midi length though... If it's too short you'll not be pulling off the look!
So what if you're an apple? You carry your weight around the middle and you have slim legs and butt. You need to go for a straight dress and don't be scared to go a little shorter. Show off those fabulous legs. (Check out Phase Eight they have a great selection for this shape along with Monsoon).
So... Get the shape right and go for the sparkles! If you need any more help with the bra or the dress, well... You know where to find me.. . www.angela-Poplett.co.uk.
