Secure cycle hubs open across Southend-on-sea
Southend-on-Sea City Council are delighted to announce the opening of 8 new digital cycle hubs across the City. Funded through the Department for Transport’s Active Travel Fund (Tranche 2), this scheme aims to improve the security and convenience of cycling for both residents and visitors.

Please be aware of new scams:- United Airlines, DVLA, Winter Fuel Payment, Electoral Registration, Booking.com. While a lot of fraud is now happening online as it is easier, cheaper, you can reach a lot of people quickly, and there is less chance of getting caught, please remember that fraud can happen in person, right on your doorstep. Treat unsolicited callers to your door in the same way I hope you are treating unsolicited telephone calls: a quick ‘no thank you’ and shut the door.
