Festive Fun at Marsh Farm!

This November has seen the opening of Marsh Farm’s spectacular festive event, ‘The Father Christmas Experience’. Over 2000 visitors came and enjoyed the 2.5 hour magical journey which was voted ‘Best Christmas Event in Essex’ by Essex Mums 2 years running!

What does the journey entail?

  • Collect your elf passport… On entering Marsh Farm, you will be handed a secret passport which allows you to take part in the fun. As you journey around the farm and reach each destination your elves will mark your passport! There’s event space for you photo!

  • Passport Control & Meet Your Elf Guide… Check in for you magical journey – have your passports at the ready! Relax in our festive marquee as your group gathers and excitement builds! Here you will meet your guide elves and prepare for you magical journey.

  • Watch Elf Magic First-Hand… Enjoy the magic and mayhem of our cheeky elves as they entertain and use elf magic to fix the broken toys.

  • North Pole Post Office… Make sure you have your letters for Father Christmas ready to post! See the Magical Label Maker and the North Pole Post Office, where letters come from children all around the world.

  • Visit Mother Christmas’ Kitchen… Mother Christmas loves to cook and will be welcoming you all into her kitchen. Every child can decorate their own festive treat to take home.

  • Help The Elves Search For The Hidden Doorway… Journey through the enchanted woodland walk on your way to find Father Christmas’ hidden doorway. Be prepared to get caught in a snow storm as the weather can change very quickly.

  • Meet Father Christmas… The highlight of your experience if your magical meeting Father Christmas!

  • Make A Bear… All the boys and girls that find themselves on the nice list will make their own ‘Make a Bear’ gift to take home.

This year’s experience features a broad array of activities for the children to take part in including cookie decorating in Mother Christmas’ Kitchen, learning elf magic to fix broken toys, singing and dancing to Christmas songs and making their very own Teddy to take home.

What’s New?

The route has undergone some outstanding changes to previous years, with a whole new barn constructed to home Mother Christmas’ Kitchen - after her previous abode was transformed into what is now Twizzle Tops Day Nursery.

There have been improvements made to the Passport Control area with a new carpeted marquee, catering and entertainment.

A jaw-dropping entrance to the winter wonderland will leave many guests feeling like the magic of christmas is still very much alive!
