Get crafty for Christmas

Thursday 19th November 2015

Visit a unique venue to find those special one-off handmade gifts for your loved ones this Christmas!

The Royal Pavilion at the sea end of Southend Pier is hosting a spectacular Christmas craft fair from 10am until 4pm on Sunday 6th December.

On offer will be an eye-catching array of stalls including cards, jewellery, paper cut art, children’s clothing, bunting, baubles, cushions, scarves, and edible gifts

If you get peckish with all that shopping, the Pier café will also be open for restorative hot drinks and mince pies.

There is no charge for entry to the fair, but the usual Pier admission prices apply.

Deputy Council Leader, Councillor Ian Gilbert said: “This event is a great opportunity for people to find unusual festive gifts to surprise and delight their family and friends.

“At the same time, it also brings the added benefit of the chance to experience the exhilaratingly fresh Southend-on-Sea air at the end of our iconic Pier – an ideal way to put wind in your sails and invigorate the rest of your Christmas preparations.”
