TRAWLER - THE NEW PUBLICATION FOR LEIGH-ON-SEA

‘Trawler’ is a community-generated publication showcasing stories from and about local people. It’s the latest project devised by the ‘Made in Leigh’ brand; a group of Leigh-on-Sea based freelancers, solo workers, creatives, independent shops and businesses. A crowdfunding campaign launched today (22nd May) to fund the printing of the first edition of 3,000 copies. COSTAL BITE REVIEW!

I hadn’t been out for breakfast for months, so it was long overdue. But where do you go? One particular place stood out for me, Coastal Bite. They had recently refurbished the restaurant to give it a real seaside feel, so I just had to give it a go! A big thumbs up to these guys, they have made this small restaurant very quant and cosy. They're serving up great quality food in equally great surroundings, not only for breakfast, but lunch and dinner too!

ENGLISH WINE WEEK

Wine from our fair shores has come on leaps and bounds over the past few years, from being a local curiosity to now being sought after all over the world! The Pipe of Port will be be celebrating English Wine Week with an ‘English Food & Wine Supper’ on the 26th May, but they'll also be serving English wine by the glass and in wine flights all week!

HOUSE SELLING TIPS!

One of the questions I get asked the most, is what is my favourite house that I have ever seen or sold? Obviously this changes depending on what mood I am in. It could be a modern seafront apartment or a quaint thatched cottage or even a detached mansion with acres of land. It's pretty rare that it is a huge house that floats my boat. More often it is a feeling of a property that makes you remember it rather than the size.
