Southend Cocktail Week returns for a second year

October 7, 2020

Southend Cocktail Week returns for a second year this Autumn with a ten day self-guided trail that will leave your tastebuds tingling.

Running from Friday 23rd October through to Sunday 1st November 2020, there are a number of fantastic bars in diverse

locations signed up and ready to serve customers their signature cocktails.

“We are happy to announce the return of our Southend Cocktail Week which we launched last year as an opportunity to showcase our night time economy businesses and encourage customers to try something different.” says Southend Business Improvement District (BID) Manager, Suzanne Gloyne.

“It is more important than ever to support our venues that have struggled through months of closures and continued restrictions. This self-guided tour can be taken at your own pace so you can avoid the crowds and still experience the tantalizing cocktails on offer. And at just £5 a pop, what’s not to love?!”

The £5 signature cocktails will be available to enjoy throughout the ten day period. These include a Bubblegum Mojito from Caddies, a classic Blue Lagoon from Park Inn by Radisson and a rum based Alas Poor Yorick from The Royal Hotel. Other destinations taking part in Southend Cocktail Week include the Pipe of Port, Salsa restaurant, Grosvenor Casino, Dr Legba’s, Holiday Inn and Revolution.

All venues are strictly adhering to government safety measures and as a result will have reduced capacities. Be sure

to book ahead to ensure you don't miss out on a delicious cocktail, or mocktail, being delivered direct to your table!

The full trail will be announced soon. To keep up to date with the latest information about Cocktail Week head to www.visitsouthend.co.uk , like the Facebook page @VisitSouthendonSea, or follow @VisitSouthend on Twitter.
