Our statement: it's time we all come together

Here at Leigh-on-Sea.com, we believe we have a duty to use our platform to help the community at this difficult time. To do so, we have been putting together a range of blog posts with need-to-know details and information, such as school closures, supermarket changes and business updates. Please find all of our up-to-date blogs here.

We also think it's very important to help our local businesses at this time, which we believe we can all do by purchasing gift cards and using the range of delivery services that are now available. We have created a list of all the local businesses currently conducting a delivery service which you can read here - we're sure they will appreciate any help possible! Why not celebrate Mother's Day with a delicious takeaway from her favourite local restaurant?

With the supermarkets flooded with customers and shelves practically empty, this is the perfect reason to instead go to your local high street for food and presents for Mother's Day. We know Leigh Broadway would love the extra help!

However, what we don't want to do is add to the panic. Therefore, we are aiming to put together a series of blogs of what we can look forward to once this is over and things you can enjoy doing whilst at home during this time - and we'd love to hear from you!
