Southend Jazz Festival 6th to 12th October 2025
The Southend Jazz Festival is back for 2025, with another incredible line-up celebrating the best of the local jazz scene and some of the most exciting artists from across the UK.
Southend Jazz Festival is a not-for-profit organisation, committed to supporting and celebrating jazz, in all it's forms, in the City of Southend-on-Sea and beyond. We work with other local promoters, venues and musicians, to ensure the festival represents the whole Southend-on-Sea jazz scene.
We want to bring new and exciting musicians to the established jazz audience, whilst working hard, through education, workshops and other engagement events, to bring a whole new audience to jazz.
We strive to make the festival as inclusive and accessible as possible, constantly looking to push new boundaries to ensure we produce a true community event that everyone can be proud of.
To help us achieve this, we are working with Southend City Council, through the Community Investment Board, meaning several of our events this year offer heavily discounted tickets, thanks to public funding, and we are also able to offer a limited number of free tickets to those who may otherwise feel excluded from the festival.
If you are under 25, over 70, or in receipt of Universal Credit, you can email us, in confidence, to see how we can help you enjoy the festival - SouthendJazzFestival@gmail.com
Visiting Southend for the Festival? Why not take the time to visit The Jazz Centre UK, the UK's only cultural centre devoted to jazz? They can be found in the Beecroft Art Gallery, next to Southend Victoria Station, and are open 11:00-17:00 Wednesday-Saturday.
A list of all events can be found at https://www.southendjazzfestival.com/
